Ever since I started secondary school, I've had a strong interest in Chemistry and Computing. In addition to my regular school assignments, I've extensively explored these subjects. My passion for Mathematics and Physics also drives me to pursue a degree that integrates all or most of these areas. With both of my parents being graduates in science and engineering, they've imparted some essential qualities for pursuing a degree in the physical sciences, motivating me to explore the available opportunities.

I have applied to several companies for sponsorship during university and a gap year, aiming to gain Engineering-related work experience. This experience would be invaluable for my university course. My goal is to earn a Master of Engineering degree and work in research and development in the oil or food industry. I aspire to complete graduate school and eventually teach Chemical Engineering.

I enjoy playing basketball, tennis, volleyball, and kayaking, but my greatest sports passion is orienteering. I've won several trophies in Andalusian and league championships and have helped organize regional orienteering events. Additionally, I designed the database system for my club. Computing is my primary interest outside school. I've done extensive web design and assist in maintaining the computer systems at my father's workplace. I also work part-time teaching individuals how to use their computers. I enjoy writing manuals or notes on computer-related topics and have published an article on web design in a small US computer magazine. I've written papers on data-logging and other equipment for my school's science department. This year, I was in charge of laying out my school's entire yearbook using DTP software. Recently, I developed a website and trained staff for an organization in London.

In my spare time, I play the keyboard and do sound engineering. I used to operate the mixing desk at my local church and assist at my parents' professional recording studio. I enjoy teaching and have tutored in Maths and English.

Having lived in Spain for 14 years, I am fluent in Spanish. My parents work with individuals from North Africa, the Middle East, America, Spain, Britain, and other nationalities. Growing up in a multicultural environment has provided me with valuable insights into the challenges of cross-cultural communication. I have participated in several King's Kids teams, performing music and dance across Spain, which involved traveling away from home for three weeks at a time and collaborating with around 60 other people. I believe this experience has made me a well-rounded individual, and I am confident that I am a great fit for your MSc program.
