- MIS Masters Personal Statement for ____ University
MIS Masters Personal Purpose Statement Samples, Writing and Editing Service for Grad School As an Indian student, I am eager to join the competitive master's program in MIS at XXXX University, motivated by my creative ideas and my current one-year internship in Dubai, UAE. This opportunity is providing me with innovative knowledge and up-to-date expertise, and I am enthusiastic about sharing my experiences working with a leading company in one of the most dynamic global settings for digital advancement. I aspire to be remembered by my teachers and peers in the MIS Program at Northwestern as the Indian student brimming with ideas and passionate about harnessing the vast potential of the Indian workforce in MIS, particularly in healthcare informatics. Thus, I am very much looking forward to learning from the faculty at XXXX, especially Professors XXXX and XXXX. Until May 2016, I am completing my internship with XXXX LLC Dubai, where I am involved in various roles in Industrial Customer Services supporting Digital Factory and Process Drives DF & PD. My duties include responding to calls and emails from international clients, managing and editing data in the company’s CRM tool, migrating CRM data to an online service portal, and maintaining the Siemens Global Service platform (GSP) and Corporate Master Data (CMD) used by end customers throughout the Gulf. I am keen to learn everything possible in your program about Central Budget Management Systems (CBMS), particularly concerning healthcare informatics. I am particularly impressed by the work MIS at XXXX has done in designing a healthcare app for the local children's hospital. Northeastern is my top choice not only because of its high ranking but also due to the ongoing research and interdisciplinary approach in diverse areas, especially manufacturing. Your program is perfect for a student like me with a broad and varied background in technology. I appreciate the research opportunities in MA and the collaborations between XXXX and innovative companies like Samsung that support your faculty’s efforts in pattern recognition, among other things. I have always been aware that I come from a country expected to soon have the largest population in the world, surpassing China by mid-century. I have grown up during a time of significant progress driven by technological advancement. As a child, I watched with great enthusiasm how the cell phone transformed Indian society for the better. My long-term dreams and visions involve employing thousands of highly qualified Indians in MIS, making our world more connected, especially in healthcare informatics. The world needs India to help manage its healthcare information because no one does it better, and we can do it for much less. This is my motto. I consider myself a cosmopolitan Indian. Although born in India, I have never stayed in one place for long, having lived in Qatar, Singapore, Dubai, and then back in India for high school and college. I believe that much of my nation suffers not just from corruption—though we have our share—but from sheer negligence. India already has the world’s largest population of skilled laborers and produces half a million engineers annually. We have the world’s highest concentration of educated youth compared to any other nation, yet only a small percentage can find work in the global economy. This is why I want my colleagues to remember me as the person who came early and stayed late, inspired by the great promise of MIS for my people and the excitement it generates. I aim to be the go-to person for MIS-related issues, starting as a network engineer. I look forward to a long, prosperous career helping industries make better decisions and improve network security. After gaining sufficient knowledge and industrial experience, I hope to return to my home country and contribute by starting my own consultancy, providing specialized consulting to local clients to enhance their market share and boost our economy. MIS is transforming my country, and I want to be at the center of this action. Our railway network, the largest in the world, the IRCTC, now processes more data per second than any other web portal globally. Millions of new apps and networks are needed to connect Indians and propel the country forward. We aim to be a developed nation by 2020. I am eager to be an integral part of this evolving landscape, and I see XXXX as the ultimate springboard for my journey. I look forward to contributing to research on Cloud Business Process Management Systems, enabling micro-market companies and startups. I aim to achieve expertise in CRMs (Customer Relationship Modules), the backbone of all business transactions and services, particularly post-sale. Each day, I increasingly appreciate the value of maintaining this information on a cloud server, which reduces a company’s downtime, lessens the load on servers and computer systems, and is beneficial for business by reducing service and maintenance costs. Easy-to-use interfaces are so efficient that users can create social media portals in a single day. I find these developments incredibly exciting, and I thank you for considering my application to your competitive program. MIS Masters Personal Purpose Statement for ____ University
- MA Mental Health Counseling Personal Statement
MA Mental Health Counseling Personal Purpose Statement for Graduate School This application arises from my deep interest in health service delivery and my goal to work at a senior level within the Ministry of Health in my homeland. Contrary to the assumption that a wealthy nation like Kuwait, which invests heavily in health services, would not encounter significant challenges in health service delivery, this is not the case. There are issues, some quite severe, and I intend to help resolve them by acquiring the skills, knowledge, and research opportunities offered by pursuing an MA Degree in Mental Health Counselling at XXXX University. A significant shortcoming in health service delivery in my society pertains to mental health, a nearly taboo subject in Kuwait. Being labeled as mentally ill results in severe social, educational, and professional consequences. The problem begins early, as parents strongly resist diagnoses like ADD, ADHD, or Autism due to fears of lifelong impacts on their child. Consequently, these conditions often go untreated in regular school settings without specialized educators, hindering the child's potential. This issue extends beyond childhood to encompass a wide range of adult psychiatric and psychological conditions, from severe disorders to mild depression. In Kuwait, mental health treatment is freely available, and neither provision nor financing is the issue. The challenges lie in societal disincentives to seeking treatment and the attitudes of those, including mental health service providers, towards individuals receiving treatment. I am not under the illusion that I can single-handedly reduce or eliminate prejudice but hope to contribute to the solution. After gaining experience within the Ministry of Health, I aspire to develop and lead an NGO focused on addressing this situation. Academically, I excelled in school, earning a full government scholarship for undergraduate and graduate studies abroad, and I am currently studying Politics at Edinburgh University. My interest in Politics stems from a desire to understand how governments set priorities, formulate policies, and implement them, and how these processes can be improved for the greater good, particularly in Kuwait. I have concentrated on the sociological aspects of politics, social and public policy, and social work. Additionally, I aim to understand how organizational language affects users and how minorities are excluded from policy benefits. I have also studied Research Analysis, which is highly relevant to this application. I live in a country capable of providing for its citizens' basic needs. However, this generous paternalism comes at a cost, as the government can control and manipulate the population while ignoring issues that, in other countries, would attract government concern and action. One such issue is the rigid class and tribal hierarchy that limits opportunities for some and fails to provide equal educational and professional opportunities. I hope to positively impact this matter in the future. I am a member of the university's Feminist Society and the Black and Minority Ethnic Society. Living as part of a minority in the UK has given me insights into the challenges faced by minority religious and tribal groups in my own society, which I intend to apply in the future. At twenty-one, my professional experience is understandably limited. However, I have gained work and volunteer experience. I was a caregiver for my mother from the age of sixteen, providing me with early exposure to healthcare services in Kuwait. I worked as a Consultant Intern, analyzing information for the UN High Commission for Refugees. I have also interned at specialist marketing companies due to my study of Research Analysis, which has provided useful insights into how attitudes and perceptions can be shaped and changed, aligning with my long-term goals. I volunteered for ChildReach International, working to increase donations by presenting to potential donors. I am a member of the University’s Debating Society, where I enjoy researching new topics and presenting clear and persuasive arguments. Debates are an excellent way to hone communication skills and explore diverse approaches to presenting a case effectively. The skills acquired will be directly applicable to participating in meetings and making presentations throughout my career. I recognize that influencing policy requires not only technical knowledge but also the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, policymakers, and others. I have happily studied, worked, and socialized with people from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds. I enjoy sharing information about my own culture and learning about others. In addition to studying in the UK, I participated in an educational exchange in the United States during high school. I am regarded as an excellent team member, working well with others, and am prepared to listen as much as to speak, always ready to defend my position strongly yet diplomatically. I am academically capable, with a strong intellectual curiosity and analytical skillset; I have a relevant academic and work background (albeit limited); and I possess personal qualities such as empathy, amiability, a readiness to cooperate for common goals, and diligence, which I believe will enable me to excel in the program and beyond. I look forward to sharing my experiences and benefiting from those of a prestigious faculty and my fellow students. Thank you for considering my application. - PHD Agricultural Economics Personal Statement
PHD Agricultural Economics Statement of Purpose: Expert Examples, Professional Help, Service My top choice for graduate school is Agriculture Economics at XXXX University, primarily due to the program's exceptional focus on crop science. It would be a tremendous honor to demonstrate my dedication and capabilities as a student in your program, aiming for direct acceptance into the PhD program. I am particularly impressed by Dr. XXXX's research on the interplay between production systems and environmental resources. I also admire ____ State’s comprehensive curriculum and innovative leadership in agribusiness. As a young Indian man with six years of experience in food processing, I am deeply committed to the study and production of food, focusing on production costs and nutritional quality. I am especially passionate about grains, viewing them as key to future progress, especially in combating hunger in developing nations. I aspire to further specialize academically in this field, researching the economic aspects of agricultural production, particularly in relation to climate change and limited natural resources. I envision a lifetime dedicated to analyzing economic issues related to agriculture and the environment, conducting surveys, collecting data, and advising on science-based economic policies. At 28, I am committed to lifelong learning, aiming to spend the next 70 years exploring agricultural production, land use, water, and environmental economics globally. I look forward to contributing to material technology advancements, applying science in a systematic way to improve farmers' decision-making, and investigating the link between food supply and environmental degradation in pursuit of sustainable farming methods. I have devoted countless hours to reading about climate change and global harvest due to their significant implications for food security, water scarcity, livelihoods, adaptation, and economic policy. Over the years, I have immersed myself in literature on agricultural production, land and water policy, environmental economics, international development, hunger, and poverty. This is my central focus, and I am eager to research the connections between poverty, agricultural production, and environmental degradation, always considering sustainable resource management. Our shrinking land mass and rapidly growing global population raise concerns for the future, emphasizing the need for advancements in agricultural production. We face numerous global challenges, particularly reduced water availability for agriculture due to climate change. The harsh realities of climate change suggest a looming ecological imbalance likely to cause chronic food shortages. Addressing these multifaceted issues requires coordinated global efforts, and I am eager to contribute proactively. Growing up on a farm with a farmer father, I have been engaged with these issues my entire life. My rural Indian background equips me for data collection, supported by my proficiency in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, and English, the region's most common languages. Agriculture accounts for 35% of India’s GNP, playing a crucial role in national development. India, with its vast and rapidly growing population, is particularly susceptible to the impacts of climate change and potential food shortages. India's diverse climatic regions, from tropical to temperate and alpine, offer both challenges and hope. I completed my BS in Engineering in Food Processing and Technology in 2009 and have since worked full time in the food processing industry, gaining expertise in data collection and analysis. I graduated in the top 5% of my class at the University of Rajasthan, India, with a curriculum covering Cereal Chemistry, Cereal Processing, Chemical Engineering, and more. I honed my skills through a training program at the Center for Analysis Research and Training Laboratory, New Delhi, certified by NABL. During semester breaks, I undertook industrial training with Mount Shivalik Industries and Temptation Foods Ltd., learning processes like Beer Fermentation and IQF. I also gained hands-on experience in quality analysis and machine operation with companies like Perfetti Van Melle India Pvt. Ltd., Agro Tech Foods Ltd., and JMD Oils Pvt. Ltd. I am eager to engage in years of learning and collaboration at XXXX, discussing food security and climate change with peers from around the world. The impact of climate change on agriculture will inevitably affect food security, and we will tackle this through comprehensive studies on crop viability, water access, solar radiation, and pest prevalence. I aim to work with the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) to assess agricultural vulnerability and develop strategies to prevent future starvation. Thank you for considering my application. PHD Agricultural Economics Personal Statement

- Passionate Architect Master's Degree Purpose Statement
Passionate Architect Master's Degree Purpose Statement Help, Writing and Editing Service Growing up in a family where engineering, design, and architecture were common, I was always surrounded by the creative and technical elements of these areas. As a teenager, I was drawn to these disciplines, inspired by the passion and expertise of my family. I delved into books, articles, and resources on art and architecture, eager to learn everything I could about the principles and practices that shaped these industries. My commitment to self-study paid off when, at eighteen, I obtained the academic qualifications needed to pursue my dream of studying at the prestigious Tehran College of Art and Architecture. The journey to this point was filled with challenges and moments of self-discovery as I honed my skills and expanded my knowledge in preparation for higher education. Entering college marked a significant milestone in my academic and professional growth. The structured curriculum, guidance from experienced faculty, and exposure to diverse perspectives further fueled my passion for art and architecture. I embraced every opportunity to engage with unique styles, techniques, and theories, broadening my understanding of the creative process and its impact on society. Reflecting on my journey from a curious teenager to a dedicated student of art and architecture, I am grateful for the formative influences that shaped my path. The support of my family, the wealth of knowledge I gained through independent study, and the transformative experiences in college have all contributed to my growth as a future professional in these dynamic and inspiring fields. I wanted to study Interior Design, but no such program existed in Iran, so I pursued the closest alternative, Industrial Design. I received my degree in May 2007. I was aware of the prestigious reputation of Virginia Tech in my areas of interest and wanted to apply for entry once I completed my studies in Iran. My father is a VT graduate and was the first person to earn a Ph.D. in Earthquake Engineering. I wanted to experience the academic environment that my father cherished. Unfortunately, my family couldn't afford to fund this ambition until 2009, when I finally began my studies in Virginia and entered the Interior Design program. I enjoyed studying Interior Design, but my professor encouraged me to switch my major to architecture because she noticed my work leaned towards large-scale concepts and vision. I thank her every day for guiding me in what I now see as the right direction. I am fascinated by architecture for its blend of science and art in creating something that has utility and beauty, impacts many people's environments, and stands for generations. The responsibilities of an architect are quite impressive, combining many different skills and considering the needs and views of various stakeholders in a project. I am also very excited about developments in building design and materials that will eventually provide us with buildings that generate rather than consume energy. I hope to be part of the solution to energy use reduction through architecture. I have been fortunate to be exposed to architectural styles in Iran and the US. I am also part of the school’s ‘study abroad program’ based in Switzerland and have seen the best in European architecture during my visits. I am eagerly anticipating a further study trip to Europe in the spring semester of 2012. I love the academic environment at VT and am eager to pursue my higher studies in this positive, supportive, and challenging setting. Thus, I am applying in my fourth year of bachelor's degree studies to undertake a combined BA and MA program in my fifth year and complete the MA program in my sixth year of study. I have always harbored a profound passion for architecture, viewing it not merely as a profession but as a calling. This innate drive fuels my aspirations to not only succeed but to excel in the field of architecture. As I embark on this journey, I am eager to delve into the realm of urban architecture research, recognizing the pivotal role it plays in shaping our cities and communities. Moreover, I passionately believe in the importance of giving back to society. I am aware of the privilege that comes with a fulfilling and well-rewarded career, and I am committed to using my time and skills to support charitable causes and non-profit organizations. By contributing to these noble endeavors, I aim to make a meaningful impact and help these entities achieve their objectives. Passionate Architect Master's Degree Purpose Statement
- Deans List PA Personal Statement Spanish
Dean’s List PA Personal Statement Inspiring Patients in Spanish, Professional Writing Service Since becoming a student pilot, flying has enhanced my preparedness for medical emergencies and honed my ability to remain calm and communicate effectively. My first solo flight required significant preparation, and my father, a pilot for twenty-two years, was proud to assist. He introduced me to flying when I was just a few weeks old. Seventeen years later, I was ready to pilot the plane solo. This achievement is particularly gratifying as I anticipate flying regularly throughout my graduate studies for my PA Degree and beyond, contributing to healthcare on the front lines for decades. A pivotal moment in my dedication to medicine as a PA occurred when I took my grandmother to the doctor after my first year of college. Dr. XXXX was one of the few clinicians who could communicate with her in Persian. During the appointment, I observed her joy at having a physician who spoke her native language and made her feel comfortable. Her grateful smile made me realize I wanted to have a similar impact on others. I immediately called my parents to share my newfound career path. I was excited to pursue a healthcare profession with an advanced degree, providing daily opportunities to inspire patients as Dr. XXXX did for my grandmother. I aim to use my Persian professionally and dedicate significant effort to learning Spanish. Since then, I have devoted my time and energy to preparing for your program, consistently making the Dean’s Honor List. I eagerly seek opportunities to expand my knowledge of the medical field. I have developed my clinical skills by shadowing physicians, working as a scribe in an Emergency Department, and volunteering at a hospital. I deeply respect a physician’s ability to heal both physical and emotional wounds. By working as a crucial team member, I can help heal bodies and, with respect, heal souls. As I completed my prerequisite courses, I envisioned my future practice. I decided to perfect my fluency in Persian (Farsi) to give back to the community that has supported my personal and professional growth. For years, members of the Iranian immigrant community in the western USA have helped me, simply because of our shared cultural roots. Similarly, I look forward to supporting the growing Iranian American community, particularly in southern California. I plan to merge my passion for flying with my commitment to becoming the best PA possible. As a licensed pilot, I will be able to travel wherever my services are needed. After completing your program, I aspire to contribute to organizations like Angel Flight West, which transports doctors and patients during crises. By becoming an Angel in the Cockpit, I could deliver essential medical services to remote areas, reaching those who would otherwise be underserved. I want to be part of spreading hope and optimism beyond borders. Dean’s List PA Personal Statement Inspiring Patients in Spanish
- Transformative Journey Master's PA Personal Statement
Transformative Journey Master's PA Personal Statement Samples, Professional Editing Service From January of 2002 through the end of October of 2013, I served most faithfully and diligently as a doctor in my native Sri Lanka, immigrating permanently to Canada in 2014. Since then, I have been building new career directions and preparing myself for a return to the workforce as a health care professional. I have been studying full time in a variety of areas that will help me to excel as a graduate student here in Canada, retraining for a new professional role, including Intensive Medical English, First Aid & CPR-HCP, and Emergency Medical Responder. Looking closely at my options, I am now fully convinced that I am the best fit as a non-traditional graduate student in the University of XXXX’s Physician Assistant Studies Program. Even though, I have also passed the Evaluating Examination for the Medical Council of Canada, I do not seek to become a leader in medicine, especially since I am a devoted family person. Rather, I seek to give my all to the practice of medicine in Canada in a support role; first, by distinguishing myself as a student in your master's program in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of XXXX. I have now served as a highly enthusiastic and diligent volunteer for almost one year and plan to continue volunteering my time with the Befriender Program, a research program conducted by the University of XXXX Department of Psychiatry that connects volunteers with autistic clients and studies the results. We maintain a log of the kinds of activities that are selected according to the interest of both the volunteer and the client: a picnic one day, movie the next, sports activities, etc. At the end of the study, they asked us to complete a feedback questionnaire about our experience. I especially enjoy the department conferences that we have each month where we discuss creative strategies to help us meet our goals and to address any issues that we are facing at the time. My participation in the Befrienders Program has helped to facilitate my bonding with the community, making many new friends, particularly the family members of our clients, meeting people from other organizations with related interests, all the while learning a great deal about how things work in Canada, generally speaking. Born and raised in the countryside of Sri Lanka, my father a farmer and my mother a homemaker, life was hard, full of chores and responsibilities especially for me since I was the oldest. This helped me to become disciplined and organized, however, and someone who is especially devoted to my own children, my daughter who is 10 and my sons, 9 and 5. As my career develops and I gain more experience here in Canada following completion of your distinguished PA Program at XXXX, I look forward to serving with medical missionary teams to disaster areas in the Developing World, perhaps returning at some point to Sri Lanka on a professional capacity. We lived through 30 years of war in Sri Lanka, and we all suffered a great deal as a result. A terrible Tsunami also hit my homeland on the 26th of December 2004 and thousands of people died with hundreds of thousands more displaced. That was the most memorable epoch of my life so far since at that time I was working as the Regional Malaria Officer for the Western Province of Sri Lanka and I played an important administrative role in helping tsunami victims, working alongside a variety of local and international organizations. Later, when there was a terrible flood in Sri Lanka and I was already in Canada and could not return, I felt a terrible tug at my heart when I watched the images of the victims on the television. In addition to completing all the prerequisites for the PA program at XXXX, I also have 8 years of experience practicing Medicine – half of that time in Forensic Medicine - and more than ten years of active participation and experience in preventive and curative health care, actively participating to help with community social projects. I have advanced administrative skills and always face up to the challenge, excelling in stressful conditions. Thank you for considering my application. - Passionate Educator Seeking PHD in Linguistics for TESOL
Passionate Educator Seeking PHD in Linguistics for TESOL, Teaching English Personal Statement Help For many years, Bilingual Education, TESOL, Learning Technologies, and English Education have been central to my life. I aspire to join your PhD Program in Linguistics at XXXX University to further advance my contributions to language education. Dr. XXXX would be an ideal advisor for me, given her expertise in Bilingual Education and TESOL. Currently, I teach English in Vietnam. I am a mature, experienced, and dedicated student and teacher originally from Iraq. Well-traveled and well-read, I have lived extensively in the USA, most of Europe, including the former Yugoslavia, Southeast Asia, and Africa. I obtained my MA in TESOL from XXXX University in 2014. I spent several years working as a civilian translator for NATO, both within and outside Iraq, which deepened my interest in language, translation, and particularly language education. Besides English and Arabic, I speak conversational French and am learning basic Vietnamese. I have dedicated much of my life to reviving a deeper understanding of my original language, Babylonian, as time permits. I am an artist with a historical connection to ancient Middle Eastern languages, caricature, and acting. I believe drama aligns well with my professional goal of becoming a world-class English as a Foreign Language teacher and trainer of EFL teachers. I hope to eventually return to Iraq, my homeland, once it is safe. My long-term dream is to create EFL curriculums for Arab countries. I worked with both NATO and the U.S. Marine Corps, translating between Arabic and English. I believe my language skills were vital to the democracy-building process in Iraq during and after Operation Iraqi Freedom. The job's biggest challenge was operating in dangerous post-war territories, yet it was fulfilling as I facilitated communication between the people and the military, and thus the international community. Working for NATO was a unique experience, thriving in a multicultural environment where diverse cultural perspectives enriched every conversation. Initially studying communications technology, by the time I completed my undergraduate studies in Linguistics and began my Master's in TESOL, I realized my advanced technical training greatly benefited my career as an English teacher, especially in teaching technical English and computer literacy. I am particularly excited about the role of computer English language learning (CALL) in our field. Humble and non-materialistic, I plan to continue teaching Interpretation, Translation, and primarily English to English teachers, focusing on speaking skills, for over 20 more years. If accepted into your PhD Program in Linguistics at XXXX University, I aim to develop innovative TESOL curriculums that fully utilize computer-based technology to enhance language learning. My worldwide travels across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East provide me with rich stories of English-language learning in diverse cultures. I also look forward to contributing to research on culture and language learning. Thank you for considering my application to XXXX University. Passionate Educator Seeking PHD in Linguistics for TESOL
- PA Studies Personal Statement At-Risk Communities
Mastering PA Studies Providing Healthcare to At-Risk Communities I have no familial connections to the medical profession, nor did I initially aspire to become a PA, nurse, or doctor. Until recently, I was satisfied with my role as a Research Analyst, which I found both fulfilling and rewarding. However, over time, I have met individuals who provide direct care to others and have admired the satisfaction they gain from their work. Lately, I have felt an increasing draw towards this type of work and have decided to pursue it. This decision is not impulsive; it follows careful consideration of the PA role and a realistic assessment of my potential to excel in it. The more I learn about the PA profession, the more enthusiastic I become about joining the program and becoming qualified in this field. What particularly appeals to me about the PA's work is the hands-on nature and the ability to observe patients' progress over time; the variety in daily tasks and exposure to diverse conditions and patients; the autonomy of the role; the opportunity to apply my extensive analytical skills, developed through academic and professional experiences, in a diagnostic setting; the chance to provide health education and preventive services to at-risk communities, thereby enhancing national health; and the opportunity to extend healthcare access to underserved communities. I am aware of the program's reputation for innovative research and believe my background will allow me to contribute significantly, especially in areas like histocompatibility. My work experience has taught me the importance of being an effective team member. I understand the value of a cohesive team working towards shared goals. While I appreciate recognition for my contributions, I also make sure to acknowledge the efforts of my teammates. I recognize that cultural awareness and sensitivity are crucial in healthcare. I have studied, worked, and socialized with people from various cultural and social backgrounds. Growing up in a military family, I traveled widely and was exposed to diverse cultures. I am sociable and outward-looking. Raised in Germany, I am bilingual in German and English, and I speak some Spanish. I aim to improve my Spanish skills to better serve Hispanic patients. Additionally, I am aware of the impact of an aging population on healthcare, necessitating new initiatives and priorities. I understand that the XXXX PA program is prestigious and will attract many qualified applicants. However, I consider myself an exceptional candidate. My academic and professional history demonstrates proven academic ability and curiosity that will help me thrive in the program. My studies and work have demanded a high level of analytical skill, directly applicable to the program and the PA role. I have already contributed to valuable medical research, and my role has required me to stay updated in rapidly evolving medical fields. My background will make me a unique addition to the class, but my main strength is a genuine passion for providing health education and care to the underserved, along with a commitment to acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to do so. English came more naturally to me due to an earlier start, while Russian was more challenging, as I learned it during my undergraduate studies in China, where I obtained a BA in Russian Languages and Literature with a minor in advertising. Last year, in 2014, I completed my master's degree in public communication at XXXX University. Pursuing my Master's in the USA has significantly prepared me to make a meaningful professional contribution in fields such as communication, IT, and public relations. However, I am seeking further training, especially in communication technology and the computer engineering aspects of business development. My ultimate goal is to become an expert in information systems, leveraging my proficiency in English, Russian, and Mandarin in this domain. My father, a professor of Geographic Information Systems, has always been passionate about his research, a passion that has influenced me as well, keeping me informed about advancements in this field. My older sister, who completed an Information Systems degree in the USA a decade ago, has also been a significant inspiration, particularly in the area of digital signal processing. I aspire to excel in promoting technology and becoming a skilled database analyst, utilizing my language skills as an IT marketer. Enhancing global communication is particularly exciting to me as it fosters peace and prosperity. I am pleased to speak the languages of the world's three major military powers: the USA, Russia, and China. I believe that contributing to technological communication advancements between these nations promotes peace and rationality. Thus, my career as an IT promoter is designed to benefit people, especially future generations. After completing your MSIS program, I plan to gain several years of intensive professional experience in system analysis and database management. Once I have achieved comprehensive mastery of the technological aspects of business development, I aim to apply these skills as an IT marketer. Having been at XXXX for two years, I have grown to love the university and its surroundings. I believe that staying here to pursue my second master's degree, the MSIS, would allow me to excel academically and professionally. I am immensely proud of XXXX’s prestigious ranking and enjoy being part of a vast academic community of peers, professors, and university staff. I appreciate the friendliness at XXXX, where even professors can become friends. The location is ideal, offering stunning views while being conveniently close to the city. Thank you for considering my application to your program. Chinese Russian MSIS Personal Purpose Statement Examples
- Language Education PHD TESOL Statement of Purpose
Transforming Language Education My PHD TESOL Personal Statement, Samples, Editing Service Pursuing a PhD in Composition and TESOL at XXXX will provide me with a thorough, inclusive, interdisciplinary, and research-driven understanding of first and second language acquisition, literacy, and education. I am particularly impressed by the way your program incorporates various elements of language literacy into its curriculum, such as TESOL, rhetoric, and applied linguistics. My interests in language literacy and culture align well with your program at IUP. I am especially drawn to the teacher-researcher aspect of your program, as I am eager to explore and contribute to the advancement of literacy and language education globally. I see your program at UXX as having an ideal balance between theory and practice. I am attracted to the diverse backgrounds and specializations of your faculty at UXX, the teacher-scholar model that influences your entire curriculum, multilingual writing, international language and culture research, and TESOL pedagogy. IUP seems to be the perfect place for the immersive research experience I wish to pursue. I have always favored the Eastern coast of the US and am particularly drawn to the relaxed pace of a small town like Indiana. I visited once and appreciated the tranquility; Indiana is also relatively affordable. Currently teaching English in Vietnam, I am a mature, experienced, and dedicated student and teacher originally from Iraq. I have traveled widely and have lived and worked extensively in the USA, most of Europe including the former Yugoslavia, Southeast Asia, and Africa. If admitted to your program, I would likely be one of the oldest students at 58, contributing to the diversity of your program in various significant ways, including my age. I spent years working for NATO as a civilian translator, both inside and outside of Iraq, which further fueled my deep interest in language, translation, and especially language education. Working for NATO was a highly multicultural and multilingual experience that I greatly enjoyed. In addition to English and Arabic, I speak conversational French and am currently learning basic Vietnamese. Additionally, I have dedicated time to reviving a better understanding of my original language, Babylonian, as much as possible. I am an artist with a historical connection to caricature, acting, and drama. I see this latter form of art as particularly compatible with my main professional goal: becoming a world-class English as a Foreign Language teacher and teacher of teachers. I hope to eventually return to my native Iraq when it is safe. I also look forward to many years of teaching both in the USA and abroad. Humble, unpretentious, and non-materialistic, I plan to work for another 20+ years as a teacher of future English teachers, focusing on speaking skills. My extensive travels across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East provide me with stories to share about English-language learning in diverse cultures. I also aim to contribute to research in culture, language literacy, and learning. By the time I was an MA student in TESOL at XXXX, I had come to fully realize that the English teachers in Iraq lacked specialized training or expertise in language acquisition and teaching, a situation that unfortunately persists. Since the Iraqi Ministry of Education dictates the curriculum, English teachers have no control over the materials they use, and interactive teaching involving speaking activities is minimal. I aim to earn the doctoral degree to make significant contributions to English teaching in Iraq, making EFL instruction more effective, productive, and beneficial. I want to influence changes in the methodologies and instructions used in teaching English in Iraqi schools, particularly high schools and universities. Once Iraq is stable, I aspire to contribute to lasting peace for new generations of Iraqis by making English language instruction more accessible and effective, helping us integrate within the global community with English as our common language. I hope to make substantial contributions to TESOL in Iraq on various levels. I would like to teach Linguistics and TESOL at the University of Babylon. By using innovative, computer, and internet-related resources, I aim to harness the power of English for peacebuilding and the promotion of harmony among different peoples, democracy, justice, liberty, equality, and freedom. Babel (Babylon), my birthplace, is a city in the Euphrates River Valley in present-day Iraq. Over the years, I have enjoyed many laughs around the world when I tell people I am a language teacher from Babel. However, the reality is quite sad as Iraq has been ravaged by war, which has been destructive rather than nurturing. I view language learning as central to building peace, a necessity for the entire Middle East, much of which is engulfed in conflict. Being accepted into the PhD Program in Composition and TESOL at XXXX will enable me to make my fullest contribution to our profession, dedicating a couple more decades to improving speaking abilities and communication skills. Here in Vietnam, I am deeply engaged in finding more effective ways to enhance pronunciation with my EFL students, a challenge I find immensely rewarding. Thank you for considering my application to XXXX. Language Education PHD TESOL Statement of Purpose
