Completing the Master's in Real Estate Development Program at XXXX University will be the pinnacle of my achievements. After obtaining my bachelor's degree in business administration in 2010, I joined XXXX Capital Group in New York as an Analyst in the Equity Research Division. I was first exposed to Real Estate Development while working at a pharmaceutical company in India for a year.
From November 2014 to July 2016, I held the position of Managing Director at a leading pharmaceutical company in Reno, Nevada. My future aspirations lie in Real Estate Development, with XXXX as my top choice.
After my role at XXXX, I returned to India due to visa issues and took a position with a major Indian pharmacy chain, XXXX. I was tasked with acquiring commercial real estate and developing models for our new retail outlets. I became captivated by the synergy and potential of real estate development, immersing myself in learning about metrics, demographics, income levels, foot traffic, and city development plans. During my time with the company from January 2012 to November 2014, I played a key role in establishing 154 new stores across northern India.
In my career as a real estate professional, I intend to incorporate my Sikh culture and faith through volunteer work with Sikh-affiliated non-profit organizations, many based in New York. XXXX University has a vibrant Sikh community actively supporting our faith's global mission. For years, I have volunteered, assisting underprivileged individuals with free dental care and eye surgeries, and I aim to gradually increase my involvement in Sikh-related charitable projects, potentially taking on leadership roles. I currently advise several Sikh institutions on their real estate investments.
Upon completing the innovative MRED Program at XXXX, I plan to work for a real estate investment firm in NYC, a hub of global capital markets. Concurrently, I wish to engage in CSR initiatives of major real estate firms, promoting their contributions to disaster relief and hunger alleviation worldwide. Eventually, I aspire to establish my development firm and build a team of professionals in Dubai, where I grew up witnessing the city's remarkable real estate transformation. I am eager to learn about 'construction space' and the factors driving innovative real estate development models at XXXX, particularly under Professor XXXX, whose expertise aligns with my interests.
