I view real estate investment projects that spur economic development globally as a key indicator of human civilization's progress.

As a young Syrian man raised in Dubai, if granted the chance to contribute to E____s future as a sustainable, leading operation that leverages global interconnectedness in real estate investment, I would bring value through my forward-thinking and innovative perspective for the Middle East, a region fraught with conflict in our fragile institutional landscape. I believe that establishing some form of cease-fire, if not lasting peace, in the Middle East is crucial for global real estate development. I aim to leave a legacy as the young Syrian visionary who believes in achieving stability and prosperity despite significant challenges.

I hope to see my inclusion in ____'s team as a complement to the presence of over 82 other nationalities. Raised with an international outlook, I was born into a Syrian family and grew up in the UAE, where my father has worked for 25 years and is now a partner and CEO of a prominent Dubai-based corporation, also a leading property developer. Our family owns properties in Dubai and St. Kitts and Nevis, where we are citizens. My primary professional objective is to become a leading real estate expert, trained in the West and based in Dubai. I am confident that Syria's reconstruction will become a vital part of my professional journey once hostilities cease.

The last time I visited Syria was in 2010, before the civil war erupted. Back then, we owned valuable real estate properties in Syria, most of which have since been destroyed. When peace returns and rebuilding begins, I want to participate in the reconstruction, driven by a patriotic and humanitarian commitment to my family's ancestral land. ____ offers a world-class environment where I can learn leadership from industry leaders. It would be a tremendous honor to align with ____'s goals and mission, working alongside one of the most advanced and diverse teams in real estate to achieve great things and explore new global frontiers in real estate development.

As I complete my BBA with a focus on Finance at the University of Sharjah in the UAE, at just 22, my father calls me a young idealist when I speak of my dreams of helping rebuild Syria to its former glory. Nonetheless, I am determined to support Syria as a real estate professional, particularly in the future if the opportunity arises. Based in Dubai, I aim to develop smart, sustainable buildings for a peaceful and enduring Middle East.

Dubai's openness to global capital, people, and ideas makes it an ideal setting for a student of real estate cycles and finance. I have learned to analyze global events—oil prices, Fed policy, banking stress, currency shifts—and assess their impact on the UAE property market. I interned at Finance House PJCS, an investment bank in Abu Dhabi, in various departments: Operations, Corporate and Commercial Finance, Trade Finance, and Treasury Investments & Securities.

In addition to consistently making the Dean's List, I have distinguished myself as a certified user of Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters. My final undergraduate project includes an Asset Valuation for Aramex PSJC and an assessment of whether it is under or over-valued. I also conducted a retail marketing analysis of three malls in Dubai, including The Dubai Mall, the world's largest. I received the Exceeding Expectations in Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Award for this project.

I was selected to join the American University of Sharjah delegation to the Harvard National Model United Nations conference organized by Harvard University. This experience helped me develop a global civic identity and a deeper understanding of international law related to commerce. It also enhanced my public speaking and diplomatic skills, enabling me to think creatively and work towards resolving issues. Additionally, I was chosen for a post-Brexit Educational Trip with my university to London in April 2017, where we will visit the London Business School (LBS), Cambridge University, Citibank, and other financial institutions and asset management firms.
