Since I was twelve, I have interacted with computers daily. I vividly remember when my father bought me my first desktop computer. My excitement was overwhelming, as I eagerly completed my homework and spent every free moment on the computer. I transitioned from merely playing games to delving into the intricacies of the Windows environment, Word, Excel, media players, and the vast Internet. Discovering that the sounds, graphics, and animations I enjoyed online were crafted by computer programmers and software developers fueled my fascination, setting me firmly on the path to exploring Computer Science, Software Engineering, and beyond.

After completing my B. Tech in IT and gaining professional IT experience, I realized that my passion truly lies in designing algorithms and software, much like I did in college. However, my current work has become unsatisfying, serving merely as a means to an end. To turn my plans, goals, and dreams into reality, I need a graduate degree, not just work experience. I've observed a significant need for innovative ideas and sustainable, creative solutions in Software Engineering and Distributed Systems.

Completing my MSc in Computer Science or Advanced Computing will help me achieve my career goal of becoming a Software Architect. Yet, my career ambitions also encompass social engineering aspects. Growing up and being educated in rural Mettur, India, we had only one Internet café, which remains underutilized, surrounded by a town that is largely unaware of computers. I aim to change this by launching a mobile computer and Internet lab project to enhance Internet awareness among students and older populations, demonstrating how networking can improve their daily lives, income, and quality of life. Ideally, this would lead to the computerization of rural towns, enabling online shopping, social and academic engagement, and efficient store and inventory management.

I bring to the student body a strong foundation in both academic and professional IT and Computer Science. My employers have recognized my work ethic and skills, often entrusting me with training new employees and colleagues in new processes and techniques. This experience has enhanced my abilities, knowledge, maturity, sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills, and leadership qualities.

To me, the field of Computer Science and Advanced Programming offers the opportunity to advance my career and, more importantly, to improve the lives of others, starting in my country. India is a developing nation that requires qualified individuals fluent not only in its languages but also in its cultural experiences. I eagerly anticipate bringing about sustainable changes in people's lives through technology.
