I secured interviews with officials and public figures in Somaliland, including the Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and the President of the University of Hargeisa.

As a Humanitarian Assistant at the Somalia/Somaliland Program Office in Nairobi, I reported to the Humanitarian Coordinator and handled assignments like monthly Situational Reports (SITREP) on the Office’s activities. I learned about Oxfam’s development and humanitarian efforts, conducted research, and collected data during field assignments across Somalia, witnessing the impact of drought and poverty.
