Pursuing a career in veterinary medicine is academically, financially, and personally challenging yet can be highly rewarding. What drives you to pursue a DVM degree in the face of those challenges?
For me challenges are the spice of life. Hence, I have always fully embraced competition to grow and push myself to improve further. The career change that I seek – earning the DVM Degree after I have already established a successful career in accounting is a challenge that I now face with great eagerness, excitement, and optimism.
My advanced organizational and time management skills make me confident that I will be able to excel in your rigorous DVM Program at the University of Colorado. A good student when I completed my first Master´s Degree, I will be even better at Veterinary Medicine because of maturity and the mastery of a variety of professional, personal and management skills.
I can assure you that if I am selected to attend the University of Colorado´s exceptional and competitive program in Veterinary Medicine, I will most certainly attend, taking full advantage of my solid support system to make my studies at U of _ my top priority.
As a young adult, I have continuously strived to acquire a self-awareness and cultural understanding through immersion in and celebration of other cultures, especially those subcultures that figure prominently in the makeup of American life: Hispanic, Asian, and African American. I take great delight in the way that our love of animals spans all cultures or groups.
As a CPA, I provide advice about money and finances to people of all races and levels of society. As a student in your distinguished program, I will treat everyone that I encounter in the same way, with a friendly spirit, good cheer, and a great receptivity to helping each other succeed.
As a veterinarian, I plan to care for the sick animals of anyone and everyone in the community who seeks out my assistance. I hope eventually to at least work on a sliding scale payment arrangement so that I can help those members of my society who are least fortunate in terms of income and resources.
