To Whom It May Concern,
I saw your advertisement for the position of Medical Assistant F-5 (11-MED-PMSS-425396-R-MULTIPLE D/S) posited at the United Nations’ Human Resources Website and I believe I am an excellent candidate for this position since I have spent considerable time efficiently performing clinical and administrative responsibilities in a very fast-paced medical office as well as training and years of experience in health care.
I have several years of experience working in both clinical and administrative capacities, assisting and working collaboratively with diverse populations of health care professionals and patients of all ages.
As a result of a lot of hard work and intensive study coupled with a great deal of initiative, I have become highly skilled at planning, prioritizing, and organization. I am noted for my self-reliance, originality, persistence and my ability to make decisions under stressful circumstances. I have learned from and always given my all to every position that I have held, as a medical receptionist, office staff, out-patients’ departments, public health institutions, and as a Medical Assistant in ER.
I have extensive experience in medical records management, scheduling appointments, tactfully responding to patients’ queries via the telephone or in person, providing health education, maintaining drug and equipment inventory, workplace safety monitoring, etc. I possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; I also consider being compassionate to be one of my greatest strengths.
I am available for immediate placement and hope to hear from you.
Thanks for your kind consideration,
